Welcome to The Compass, our newly opened pub and eatery on the site of the old Salmon and Compass on Chapel Street, Islington N1. With three real ales and a proper scrumpy on draft, delicious and sensibly priced food served in a relaxed and unpretentious environment. Our huge open kitchen prepares daily lunch specials, homemade pies and deserts and a selection of unusual bar snacks including The Worlds Greatest Scotch Egg, home made pickles and breads.

Part gastro-pub, part bustling bar, part friendly local restaurant, The Compass combines a large ground floor bar with a beautiful first floor function room complete with an open fire . The pub faces South, so weather permitting, our six large outside tables get sunshine all day.
